In 2018, The 3rd Annual Queens Hip-Hop Festival took place in several different locations in Queens. Funk Flex, among many others, came and spoke to the public about the music industry. There were performances as well, though much of the line up in the article below ended up not performing, Jam Young and Audrey Funk headlined the show at ColorWerx, where a local Queens art gallery was taking place as well. Jam Young received much praise for this performance and it is to date his biggest show in his home borough of Queens thus far.
Candice Johnson writes a thorough review on one of the first Jam Young singles of 2019, which features two of Columbia, SC best artists, H3RO and Cole Connor. Jam Young performs with Strawhat Dynasty, Lex Rush, DJ Ray BLK, and Penny4Thought for an epic show outside in Sculpture Park. Ralph McDaniels, the founder of Video Music Box, hosts the show. The event featured over 10 musical acts and over a hundred people.
In 2018, Jam Young was invited and participated in Jamo Gang's (Ras Kass, El Gant, J57) USA tour. This included 11 cities in two weeks.
Capitol Minds Ent. relocated from Memphis to Nashville and in their return Summer Jam series invited Jam Young to come out and be one of the 3 headliners. Jam Young rocked the crowd and poured his heart out for over 20 minutes on stage setting the energy for top headliner, Tef Poe (BET Freestyle winner, Professor, and one of St. Louis' top tier MC's).
Jam Young in 2019 started a series where he dropped a single every week for 40 weeks straight. Inspired by Russ and building a fan base Jam Young continued this trend until early 2020. Since the series was pretty successful and with tons of new music in the archives, Jam restarted the series branding it as #fridayjamz.
